nleFormat values: fcp_xml (Premiere XML, default), fcp_xml_resolve (DaVinci Resolve XML).

Read and report warnings: captions, solids, SVG, unsupported clip attributes, and unrendered motion graphics may be dropped by the XML format.

Progress Tracking

local-video-editor_submit_export returns a renderId. Use local-video-editor_track_export to check status:

For the latest project export, omit renderIds and pass "latest": true.

local-video-editor_track_progress is for generation/transcription/upload jobs, not render jobs.

Delivery

After local-video-editor_track_export returns the finished render, the output file is available at the path or URL returned by the tool. The render is a local file — no download from the cloud is needed.

Unavailable Export Features

The following export features available in cloud-based editors are NOT available in Local Video Editor:

• export_motion_graphic_prores — transparent ProRes MG export (MG rendering not available)
• request_asset_download — media-pool source download (assets are already local)
• Cloud-only render paths and editor-action bridge exports

Fallback

If local export fails, use ffprobe to inspect the project assets and timeline for compatibility issues. All processing is local, so there is no "upload to cloud" gate.
