Workflow
gitnexus_detect_changes({scope: "all"}) -> See all changed files and affected processes- For each changed symbol:
gitnexus_impact({target, direction: "upstream"}) -> Find dependents
gitnexus_context({name: "changedSymbol"}) -> Verify all callers are updated- Cross-reference affected processes with test coverage
If the index is reported stale, rebuilding is not routine — run npx gitnexus analyze --skip-agents-md only if the task needs a fresh index, then git status + git checkout -- any tracked file it touched (read-only policy).
Review Checklist
Step 1: Scope Assessment

Step 2: Impact Verification (for each high-risk change)

Step 3: Dependency Check

-> Verify outgoing dependencies still valid
-> Check if new dependencies were introduced
Step 4: Cross-cutting Concerns
