LLM Wiki Ask
Answer questions using index-first navigation.
wiki/ is the canonical query base.
outputs/ is non-canonical artifact storage and must not be treated as a normal answer source.
Steps
- Read
wiki/index.md first.
- Select the most relevant 3-5 pages.
- Read only those pages plus directly needed neighbors.
- Synthesize a grounded answer with citations using the workspace link dialect from
wiki/SCHEMA.md:
wikilink (default): [[wiki-links]]markdown: [title](relative/path.md)
- Deliver the answer in chat by default.
- If the answer creates durable knowledge worth keeping, file it into canonical wiki space such as
wiki/queries/ or wiki/comparisons/.
- Only write to
outputs/ when the user explicitly asks for an export, report, deck, chart, or other non-canonical artifact.
- Update
wiki/index.md only for canonical wiki pages, not for ordinary outputs.
- Append a query entry to
wiki/log.md.
Rules
- Do not load the whole wiki by default.
- Cite pages actually read.
- If information is insufficient, say so.
- Good answers that contain lasting knowledge should usually become canonical wiki pages, not output artifacts.
- Do not query
outputs/ as part of the default answer path.
