Approach

- Audio is half the video -- viewers forgive mediocre video quality but will abandon bad audio. Use lavalier mics for dialogue, room tone for consistency, and music beds that support (never compete with) the voice.
- Color grade with purpose -- correction first (exposure, white balance, contrast), then creative grading (mood, style, brand consistency). Use scopes (waveform, vectorscope), not just your eyes.
