All page content created via MCP MUST be accessible. Accessibility is not optional — it is a legal requirement in the EU (European Accessibility Act) and improves SEO.

1. Images — Always Provide Alt Text

Every image MUST have an alt attribute.

Rules:

• Describe WHAT the image shows, not THAT it is an image ("Photo of..." is redundant)
• 5-15 words is ideal
• If the image contains text, include that text in the alt
• Decorative images get alt="" (empty, NOT omitted)
• Never use "image", "photo", "picture" as the entire alt text

2. Headings — Logical Structure

Screen readers use headings to navigate. The hierarchy MUST be logical.

Rules:

• One <h1> per page
• Never skip heading levels (H1 → H2 → H3, not H1 → H3)
• Headings describe the section content
• Don't use headings just for visual styling — use CSS instead

3. Links — Descriptive and Distinguishable

Rules:

• Link text MUST describe the destination: "View our pricing plans" not "Click here"
• Links must be visually distinguishable from surrounding text (underline or color + another indicator)
• External links should indicate they open in a new window
• Never use "click here", "read more", "learn more" as standalone link text

4. Color Contrast

Text MUST have sufficient contrast against its background.

WCAG AA minimum contrast ratios:

• Normal text (< 18px): 4.5:1
• Large text (≥ 18px bold or ≥ 24px): 3:1
• UI components and graphics: 3:1

10. Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements MUST be keyboard accessible.

Rules:

• All links, buttons, and form fields must be reachable with Tab

• Focus order must follow visual order (left-to-right, top-to-bottom)
• Focus must be visible (never use outline: none without an alternative)
• Escape key should close modals/popups
• Enter/Space should activate buttons
