Amap Skill

Wraps the Amap (Gaode Maps) Web Service REST API. All scripts output structured JSON to stdout for easy parsing by agents.

Requirements: Node.js 18+ (uses native fetch). No npm install needed.

API Key

Scripts resolve the key in order:

1. AMAP_WEBSERVICE_KEY environment variable
2. ~/.amap/.env file (AMAP_WEBSERVICE_KEY=xxx)

If neither is set, scripts exit with a clear error message.

POI Search

Search for places by keyword with optional city filter or location-based radius search.

Route Planning

Plan routes by walking, driving, riding (bicycle), or public transit.

Geocoding

Convert between addresses and coordinates.

Weather

Query live weather or 3-day forecast by city name or adcode.

Options: --city (required), --forecast

Coordinate Format

All coordinates use longitude,latitude format (e.g., 116.397428,39.90923). This is Amap's standard — longitude first, latitude second.

• All scripts support --help for usage information
• Output is always JSON to stdout; errors go to stderr
• Rate limits depend on your Amap developer plan
• Amap Web Service Key is different from JavaScript API Key — make sure to use the Web Service type
