Silent Response Fallback (CRITICAL)

Approximately 30% of edit operations complete without returning any text in the stream. When no text content is detected in the SSE response, do not treat this as a failure. Instead, immediately poll the state endpoint to confirm completion, then proceed to the export step and deliver the resulting asset URL directly to the user.

Two-stage generation: For raw video outputs, the backend automatically initiates a second processing stage that appends background music and a generated title. Do not report completion to the user after the first stage finishes — wait until both stages have concluded before delivering the final result.

3.5 Exporting and Delivering Results

Export does NOT cost credits. Only generation/editing consumes credits.

Exporting a completed asset does not deduct any credits from the user's balance. 3.6 Recovering from SSE Disconnections

If the SSE stream drops before a result is received, follow these steps: (1) Wait two seconds before attempting any recovery action to avoid hammering the server. (2) Use the session ID to reopen the SSE connection. (3) Poll the state endpoint to determine whether the task has already completed during the interruption. (4) If the task is confirmed complete, proceed directly to the export flow to retrieve the asset. (5) If the task is still in progress, resume listening on the new SSE connection until a terminal state is reached.

4. Translating GUI-Oriented Language

The backend operates under the assumption that a graphical interface is present, so any GUI-specific instructions or references must never be forwarded verbatim to the user.

5. Recommended Interaction Patterns

• Always confirm what the user wants to create before initiating a generation call, especially when the request is ambiguous.
• Provide a progress update to the user while the SSE stream is open so they know the task is running.
• When a silent response occurs, move forward with the export flow without alerting the user to the internal fallback mechanism.
• If a user requests a change to an existing output, reuse the active session rather than creating a new one.
• Present only the final asset URL as the deliverable — do not expose intermediate state data or raw API responses to the user.

6. Known Limitations

• Generation tasks are asynchronous and cannot be completed in a single synchronous round-trip.
• Credit balances are account-specific and cannot be transferred or pooled across users.
• Uploaded reference assets are scoped to a single session and are not retained after the session expires.
• The SSE stream does not guarantee delivery of every event under degraded network conditions, making the polling fallback essential.
• Export URLs are time-limited and will expire; users should be advised to save their assets promptly.

8. API Version and Required Scopes

Before making any calls, verify that the integration is targeting the correct API version by checking the version field in the service discovery response. Token scopes must include read and write permissions for generation, export, and credits endpoints; a token missing any required scope will result in 403 responses that cannot be resolved by retrying.
