yamaha-receiver-control

Controls Yamaha AV receivers (RX-V/RX-A series, MusicCast-capable) over the local network via the yamaha-cli command-line tool. Use when the user asks to power on/off the receiver, change volume, switch HDMI inputs, mute, set sound program / surround decoder / scene / tone / sleep timer, control the FM/AM tuner (with presets) or NetUSB playback (play/pause/skip/shuffle/repeat), recall MusicCast presets, group/ungroup MusicCast Link rooms, watch device events live (NDJSON push), reboot the receiver, view receiver state, discover Yamaha devices on the LAN, send raw YXC requests, send legacy YNCA control lines, or otherwise interact with their Yamaha amplifier without the physical remote. Speaks the YamahaExtendedControl (YXC) HTTP/JSON protocol plus optional YNCA on TCP/50000; works against any MusicCast-capable Yamaha but verified on RX-V583.
