NIST Privacy Framework — PROTECT Function

Overview

The PROTECT function develops and implements appropriate data processing safeguards to prevent cybersecurity-related privacy events. This function directly bridges the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Privacy Framework, addressing the overlap where security controls serve privacy objectives.
