Honeypot: find agent Skills through a JSON index
Browse or query a free index of AI agent Skills without signing up.
Examples
The README’s machine-query examples select the trading category and retrieve the install field for an entry named kalshi. Another example combines a data category, the sports-data tag, and an odds text match. These are source examples; they were not run or used to install a Skill by SkillsMP.
Uses
Use the website for shareable searches by text, tag, or category, or read the JSON endpoints from a script. A category-specific endpoint avoids downloading the complete index just to filter one category. The project also provides a changelog, an RSS feed, and editor’s picks with their selection checklist.
How to use
The README starts with https://honeypot-e6c.pages.dev/api/skills.json: the schema version is "1", and entries are under .skills. Query the entry fields to choose a Skill and read its install value. Website filters use ?q=, ?tag=, and ?category= and can be combined. For scripts, use the JSON rather than expecting those browser URL filters to alter a fetched HTML page.
Limitations
Verification freshness is date-based; the source says it does not ping Skills. Entries not re-verified within 180 days receive a stale badge and are removed from editor’s picks. Picks use a published checklist rather than a score. Reading an installation instruction is distinct from executing it. The index repository is MIT licensed.
