Brainstorming

Use this skill before building features, components, apps, or behavior changes.

Process:

1. Explore the project context first.
2. Clarify scope and ask one question at a time.
3. Propose two or three approaches with trade-offs and a recommendation.
4. Present the design in reviewable sections and get guardian approval.
5. Write the approved spec to docs/superpowers/specs/YYYY-MM-DD--design.md unless told otherwise.
6. Self-review for placeholders, contradictions, ambiguity, oversized scope, and unrequested features.
7. Ask the guardian to review the written spec before implementation planning.

Principles: one question at a time, YAGNI, incremental validation, isolated components, clear data flow, explicit non-goals, and no implementation before design approval.
