4. Decide Strategy and Priority
Evaluate the backlog of friction points.
- Prioritize: Focus on issues that impact the most developers or align with current leadership goals (e.g., reducing cloud spend vs. increasing feature velocity).
5. Sell the Strategy
Get buy-in by framing DevEx improvements in terms of leadership priorities.
