Learn how to analyze for performance bottlenecks in the front-end of your application and how to identify performance problems. Find out what tools and best practices can help improve your applications based on SAPUI5 or the SAP Fiori design system. Explore how AI can help with the optimization in many ways. Front-end performance includes several aspects like networking, scripting (parsing and running JavaScript), rendering (both html and CSS), etc. Since this hands-on workshop uses SAPUI5, we will focus on network analysis because the other topics, like rendering, etc, are handled by the framework. ## Requirements The requirements to follow the exercises in this repository are web applications development knowledge and SAPUI5 Basics. ## Exercises - [Getting Started](exercises/ex0/README.md) - [Exercise 1 - Understanding network traffic](exercises/ex1/README.md) - [Exercise 2 - UI5 Builder](exercises/ex2/README.md) - [Exercise 3 - Analyzing network traffic](exercises/ex3/README.md) - [Exercise 4 - Analyzing OData requests](exercises/ex4/README.md) - [(Bonus) Exercise 5 - Initial Load and Live Mode](exercises/ex5/README.md) ## Contributing Please read the [CONTRIBUTING.md](./CONTRIBUTING.md) to understand the contribution guidelines. ## Code of Conduct Please read the [SAP Open Source Code of Conduct](https://github.com/SAP-samples/.github/blob/main/CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md). ## How to obtain support Support for the content in this repository is available during the actual time of the online session for which this content has been designed.
