Gotchas

• -term exclusion only works in lex queries — using -term in vec or hyde queries is silently ignored.
• Expand is standalone — a query document with expand: on its own line works alone; mixing expand: with typed lex:/vec:/hyde: lines produces unpredictable results. Use one or the other.
• multi_get glob matches — the glob pattern is case-sensitive and must match the file extension (.md). journals/2026-*.md works; journals/2026-* may not.
• First query gets 2x weight in result fusion — put your strongest signal first, not your broadest.
