Strategy Rigor
Make the decision explicit before recommending.
Fleet context
This skill is part of ultracode-high. For the full orchestration map, tool
catalog, agent roster, and card schemas, read
../ultracode-high/references/runtime-context.md when available. Strategy work
is attestation-heavy by nature, so label judgment gates honestly and tie them to
decision impact.
Stack
- Customer and stakeholders: who decides, who is affected, and what they need.
- Diagnosis: the real constraint or opportunity, and the decision it forces.
- Options: mutually exclusive choices, including the credible alternative.
- Criteria: how tradeoffs will be judged.
- Evidence: facts that support or weaken each option.
- Economics: impact, sensitivity, downside, reversibility.
- Risks: what could break and leading indicators.
- Recommendation: what to do now, owner, timing.
- Success criteria and learning plan: measurable target, test, milestone, or
kill criterion.
Avoid generic strategy language. Tie recommendations to measurable mechanisms
such as acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, expansion, margin,
throughput, cycle time, risk reduction, or capital efficiency.
