Use this child skill when the core inputs are ready and the user wants the finished email, sequence, or audit rewrite. The north star is qualified conversations started per unit of market trust consumed: the compiler's job is to spend prepared inputs well, never to paper over missing ones.
This is a procedure skill at domain altitude. The ordered compile sequence is the spine; the subject/preview and body-lint rubrics under Judgment are the decision criteria it runs, the Routing block holds the refuse-and-route map to the sibling skills that produce missing ingredients, and Knowledge holds the volatile vendor tables the compile reads.

Subject and Preview Rules (Packaging Pass)
Subject plus preview is the first conversion point — never leave either to chance. All percentage deltas below are Lavender vendor data (231,818-email Feb-2026 benchmark across ~50k inboxes; sample stated, selection bias not characterized) — treat as directional, not governing thresholds. Title-Case vs Lowercase Resolution
Lavender found subjects without title case lost −30% opens; Aaron Shepherd's casual volume register deliberately uses lowercase. These conflict, and the conflict is resolved editorially by register, not by data:
Formal modes (enterprise, strategic, investor, recruiting, PR): title case.
Casual-founder volume mode: lowercase.
Never mix registers within one campaign.
Preview Text Rules
The first two sentences of the body ARE the preview — write them deliberately (Florin Tatulea / Jason Bay).
Extend the subject; never repeat it.
Surface the anchor early so the preview proves relevance before the open.
Never let a tracking-pixel disclaimer, unsubscribe text, or "view in browser" leak into the preview.
Preview can carry the whole follow-up: Connor Murray's highest-reply follow-up of all time runs entirely on the preview line "Please give me your thoughts on this."
Body Lint Rubric
Run this after drafting, before bundling. Every email ships with a cadence and reply routes attached; every lint failure is fixed or named in the bundle. The framing metric is qualified conversations started per unit of market trust consumed.
9-Point Body Lint Checklist
Passive→assumptive sweep (see the Assumptive-Language Replacement Table in Knowledge): "I was hoping…" → "I'm looking…"; "If you're interested…" → a date question; "Worth a chat?" → banned (root guardrail).
Cliché sweep: "I hope this finds you well," "hope all is well," "just checking in," "quick question" as a body opener (Lavender 101, Greenhouse, Jackson).
One CTA only; the CTA is a Call-to-Conversation — easy to answer, not a booking demand (Lavender 101 CTC rule) — except modes where a time-ask is sanctioned (Murray strategic, recruiting).

Confirm the ingredient chain exists: person, moment, reason (anchor + bridge for relationship-sensitive modes), artifact offer, proof status, sender constraints. Refuse to compile around a missing critical ingredient — route it instead: vague segment/persona → cold_email_icp_signal_design; missing or meeting-first offer → cold_email_offer_lab; anchor below Level 3 for strategic/single-target → cold_email_research_anchors; unverified sender at volume → cold_email_deliverability_readiness. Pick exactly one mode (volume casual, volume/enterprise formal, strategic anchor-led, investor, recruiting, PR/podcast, founder-to-founder — partnership and customer research as flagged thin variants) and restate why it is the right mode.
Confirm the offer is artifact-first, buyer-progress-oriented, and alternatives-aware. A meeting-first ask is allowed only where the mode sanctions it (strategic sales, recruiting) — never in investor or PR modes.
Load cold_email_outreach_compiler.mode_templates and draft the body in that mode's scaffold, length cap, and register. Add proof only if credible, relevant, approved, and claim-matched. For PR/podcast, package beat fit, audience reason, and the topic-angle menu. For strategic B2B, package the artifact so a Mobilizer could forward it internally.
Run the subject/preview pass per the subject/preview rubric in Judgment (and the Mode-Keyed Subject Table in Knowledge): mode-keyed subject, rejection-list sweep, register resolution (title case for formal modes, lowercase for casual volume), and deliberate first-two-sentences preview that extends the subject and surfaces the anchor.
Run the 9-point lint per the 9-Point Body Lint Checklist in Judgment. Fix every failure or name it in the bundle; the passive-to-assumptive sweep and single-CTA rule are non-negotiable.
Attach the mode's cadence from the Cadence Map by Mode in Knowledge, with follow-up content per the follow-up rules (follow-up #1 reformats, #2 restates the CTA, #3 breaks up; volume stops at two touches; PR follows up exactly once).
Define reply routes (yes / no / objection / silence — hand objection and revival handling to cold_email_reply_os) and tracking targets per stage. Targets come from cold_email_learning_review's benchmark bands and gate tree — set positive-reply-per-send and bounce/complaint ceilings there; do not invent target numbers here. Note: low opens in 2026 are more likely a compliance/placement failure than a copy failure.
Return the bundle with refusal notes for any precondition that remains weak.

Refusal: not compiling this campaign as specified. At ~200 sends this is volume mode, and volume mode forbids a meeting-first ask — a time-ask is sanctioned only in strategic sales and recruiting. A Calendly link on first touch asks for more trust than a cold volume send has earned: the smallest useful yes at volume is an artifact send, and no artifact exists.
Missing critical ingredient: the offer artifact → route to cold_email_offer_lab. Build a front-end artifact (teardown, checklist, benchmark, mini-audit) the email can lead with; the 15-minute call becomes the second yes, not the first.
Not offered: no laundered variants — no "open to a quick chat?" rewrite, no softened or buried calendar link. Politer phrasing of the meeting ask is still the meeting ask.
