# Website Development
Follow the active root instruction file for shared engineering policy. For the
task at hand, read the relevant reference before editing:
- [Architecture](../../../docs/agent-reference/site-architecture.md): routes,
component families, design tokens, registry, and rendering contracts.
- [Validation](../../../docs/agent-reference/validation.md): specialized checks,
browser setup, snapshots, and release-runbook links.
Choose checks using the root testing policy. These references do not add an
unconditional full-suite gate to small tasks or authorize external actions.
