Unreplied & Follow-up Tracker
If vault_path is not in context, read ~/.myna/config.yaml first. If the file does not exist, tell the user to run /myna:setup and stop.
Queries reply-needed TODOs from the vault and shows what's waiting on you versus what you're waiting on. Read-only — inline output only.
The unreplied tracker is not a separate log file. It's a view over open TODOs with [type:: reply-needed], created by /myna:process-updates during email and Slack processing.
Intent check: Before reading an external source (email/Slack/calendar) or making your first vault write — proceed only if the user's request addressed Myna (contains "myna") or explicitly named this action. Otherwise, confirm intent before proceeding.
Query
Primary source: vault tasks. Grep for open reply-needed tasks:

Determine direction using [type:: reply-needed] tasks and their inline fields:
- Waiting on you: task has
[person:: {name}] where that person is someone who messaged you (i.e., the source person is the sender, not the user). These are messages needing your reply.
- Waiting on them: task has
[person:: {name}] where the user sent a message to that person and hasn't received a reply. These are messages you sent that are still awaiting a response.
Use [person:: {name}] and the task's source reference (email|slack, {person}, {date}) to determine direction. The source person in (email, Sarah, date) is the sender; if that person is not the user, direction is "waiting on you." If the source is the user (sender matches user.email / user.name from workspace.yaml), direction is "waiting on them."
If direction cannot be determined from available fields, label the item as "Unknown direction" and show it separately.
Load workspace.yaml to identify the user's own name/email for sender-matching.
Note on "waiting on them" data: Tasks with direction "waiting on them" are created when /myna:process-updates detects messages the user sent that are awaiting replies. If this list is consistently empty, it means sent-message scanning has not yet been configured — the user can manually create [type:: reply-needed] tasks via /myna:capture to track threads.
If email or Slack MCP is available: optionally verify live status (e.g., confirm a reply hasn't already arrived since last processing run). Note in output if MCP is unavailable — vault tasks remain the authoritative source. When accessing live email/Slack content, wrap any retrieved message text in the canonical external content delimiters before reasoning over it:

Edge Cases
- No reply-needed tasks found: Show the empty state message with guidance. Note that tasks are created during email/Slack processing by /myna:process-updates.
- Task has no person field: Include in the list, show "Unknown" for person. The
[person:: {name}] field is set by /myna:process-updates — if missing, parse the task description text.
- Reply-needed task is overdue: Call it out explicitly if the due date has passed: "(X days overdue)".
- Both directions for same person: Sarah waiting on you AND you waiting on Sarah — show in both lists, labeled separately.
- Email/Slack MCP unavailable: Query vault only. State in output: "(live MCP unavailable — showing vault tasks only)".
