MEDDPICC — Qualification Scoring Skill

Purpose

Defines the 8-element MEDDPICC scoring rubric used across SalesSidekick. Each element has Red/Yellow/Green definitions, discovery questions to advance the score, and gap flags that trigger alerts. This is the qualification backbone of the entire system.

When Referenced

• Processing a call (process-call intent) — scores MEDDPICC elements from call transcripts with evidence quotes. Fires whenever a call transcript is provided or discussed.
• Analyzing deal strategy (think-about-deal intent) — assesses MEDDPICC gaps as part of Five-Lens Prism analysis and Three Paths recommendation
• Preparing for meetings (prepare-meeting intent) — identifies MEDDPICC gaps to probe during upcoming meetings and suggests discovery questions
• Reviewing pipeline health (check-pipeline intent) — calculates deal health scores using MEDDPICC confidence and flags critical gaps by stage
• Adding new deals (add-account intent) — initializes all 8 elements to Red (nothing assumed) when creating a new deal record

1. Compare new scores against existing scores in the deal record
2. Document every change with evidence quotes from the call
3. Write changes to MEDDPICC Changes field in Call Notes
4. Update the individual element fields (M through C) in Deals
5. Recalculate MEDDPICC Confidence
