Excel to Slides

Generate an Amaroad slide deck where each Excel row becomes one MDX slide.

Quick start

# Copy script to project if not present
cp <skill-dir>/scripts/generate-from-excel.mjs <project>/scripts/

# xlsx is already a direct dependency (installed by `pnpm install`)

Workflow

Confirm inputs — Ask user for: Excel file path, deck name, title, logo (optional).
Ensure xlsx package — Run pnpm ls xlsx in the project root. If missing: pnpm install.
Copy script — Copy scripts/generate-from-excel.mjs from skill dir to project scripts/.
Dry-run — Execute with --dry-run, show the file list.
Generate — Run without --dry-run.
Verify — Open the deck in the browser and screenshot a few slides.

First sheet is read. Default column mapping:
