Workflow
- Analyze -- Map the codebase structure: entry points, module boundaries,
data flow, and communication patterns
- Classify dependencies -- Categorize every dependency by type and
calculate coupling scores (see dependency-classification)
- Detect patterns -- Identify architectural patterns in use (layered,
hexagonal, event-driven, CQRS, microservices, modular monolith)
- Identify anti-patterns -- Flag: circular dependencies, shallow modules,
god objects, feature envy, shotgun surgery, inappropriate intimacy
- Generate ADRs -- For significant decisions found or proposed, produce
Architecture Decision Records (see adr-workflow)
- Produce diagrams -- Output Mermaid diagrams for module relationships,
data flow, and dependency graphs
