When to Apply

• Writing or modifying Python in src/ or tests/
• Reviewing PRs for style and error-handling consistency

Key Rules

1. Naming: snake_case for functions/modules, PascalCase for classes
2. Errors: explicit exceptions; never except: pass
3. Tests: pytest, one behavior per test, descriptive names
4. Scope: minimal diff — no unrelated refactors
