A Staff/Principal Engineer that challenges bad directions, names anti-patterns, asks deep feature-specific questions, and recommends the right answer rather than a neutral menu — then writes a complete-build-spec ADR to docs/adr/ for your confirmation. Owns all ADR files.
Use this skill to build a feature — UI or logical/backend — from an approved design. Run /develop to implement a page, component, API, service, data layer, or any slice. It first gates on the decision: if building would require inventing something undecided (a design system, page composition, a provider, data model, or a feature's behavior) and no ADR records it, /develop stops and routes you to /architect. Otherwise it reads the ADR + AGENTS.md (+ design.md for UI) and builds, advancing the roadmap. It doesn't make architecture decisions or write ADRs (/architect).
Use this skill to turn a product idea into a living, coarse, spec-driven roadmap — and to keep it current as you ship. Just run `/roadmap [what]` and it infers the right move from the situation, the way /architect infers its mode: plan a new product, plan the next slice of an existing one, enroll a single feature you name (one coarse row, no full re-plan), or — with no argument — reconcile after shipping and queue what's next. You never type a subcommand. As a senior product engineer it asks across business, product, and go-to-market, then lays out the features, their order, phasing, per-feature process weight, and which carry a decision — each with an intent line and acceptance-criteria seeds. It writes the roadmap to docs/roadmap/. It seeds the WHAT; it does not design features (/architect), pick tools (/architect), or write code (/develop). Build tasks are derived from each feature's ADR, not guessed here.
Use this skill to orient yourself — where things stand and what's safe to pick up — across a paused session or a team. Run /status when resuming ('where was I?', 'what's left?', 'catch me up'), joining a shared repo ('what's in-progress?', 'am I behind?'), or before starting to avoid colliding with a teammate. Reads git state, the feature roadmap, and ADRs; reports what's done, what's in-progress with its resume point, and collaboration hazards (behind the remote, a feature someone else is mid-build on). Read-only.
Use this skill to write a test suite for code you just built or changed. Run /test after implementing a feature, component, API route, or fix — it targets the files changed and not yet committed (working tree + staged + untracked), no need to name them. Reads test-preferences.json for your framework; if absent it asks, installs with confirmation, and saves it. A senior test engineer choosing the right strategy per file: happy path, edge cases, error states, and accessibility where relevant.
Use this skill to confirm a change actually works by running the real app and watching its behavior — not just that tests pass. Run /verify after /develop and before /review, or any time you need to see a feature work end to end: it launches the app, exercises the changed flow, and checks the observable result (UI, an API response, CLI output, a job). For a **behavior-preserving refactor** (or a project with no test runner), it runs a before/after diff — capturing the affected outputs pre- and post-change and proving they're identical — which is the regression gate a refactor needs. Complements /test with runtime confirmation; reports what worked, what didn't, and what /test should lock in. It doesn't write code.
Use this skill after a change is complete to keep durable knowledge current. Run /sync as the last step on medium/full work, around merge. It updates the AGENTS.md context files (root + nested) to reflect what changed, reconciles the feature roadmap's status from repo evidence, and flags any ADR the change made stale. Conservative: surgical, additive edits that never overwrite curated content; it doesn't restructure root (/audit) or edit ADRs (/architect).
Use this skill to bootstrap a project's AI context — the AGENTS.md files every later skill reads. Run /audit at the start of a greenfield project (it asks your coding standards and seeds root AGENTS.md), on an existing codebase with no or partial docs (it scans and writes root + nested AGENTS.md, adding only what's missing), or on one named area (e.g. /audit src/auth). Writes tool-agnostic AGENTS.md plus a thin CLAUDE.md pointer; never overwrites curated content. Not for ADRs (/architect), post-change upkeep (/sync), or the roadmap (/roadmap).
Use this skill to find and fix the root cause of a bug — something failing, broken, throwing, or behaving wrong. Run /debug when a test fails for a non-obvious reason, when /verify finds a failure, or when behavior is unexpected. It runs a disciplined loop — reproduce, localize, hypothesize, test, fix at the root, verify — one hypothesis at a time until the cause is proven, then makes the minimal fix and hands a regression test to /test. It fixes the cause, not the symptom; no features or extra refactors.
Use this skill to write the human-facing prose about a change — a PR description, changelog entry, release notes, or incident postmortem. Run /document when you need any of those written from the real change (commits, diff) rather than by hand. Pass the type (/document pr | changelog | release-note | postmortem) or let it ask. A precise technical writer drafting from history, writing to the right place (PR body, CHANGELOG.md, docs/releases/, docs/postmortems/). It doesn't write code, tests, or ADRs.
Use this skill to stress-test a change against production-only failure modes — edge cases, concurrency, scale, and security. Run /harden after the code works and is tested (typically the last step before merge on medium/full tier, or when /test or /review flags a concern). A systems-level principal engineer probes how it breaks under load, adversarial input, partial failure, and time, and produces a prioritized, verifiable hardening checklist in docs/hardening/. It doesn't rewrite your code.
Use this skill for a rigorous, senior-level code review before merge. Run /review after implementing a feature or fix, before opening a PR, or when the tier playbook calls for it. It runs on a DIFFERENT Claude model than wrote the code (spawned automatically, no setup) — a fresh model catches what the author is blind to. Severity-ranked findings on correctness, security, performance, maintainability, and tests, across the branch's changes plus uncommitted work, written to docs/reviews/ — a persisted findings doc (for a quick inline diff pass instead, use /code-review). It doesn't modify your code.
