Format

• Header: Client name, period covered, total AUM
• Performance Summary: 1-2 sentences on overall direction without making up specific returns
• Holdings Review: For each top holding, 2-3 sentences on what happened during the period and outlook
• Position Changes: If applicable, note any changes since the last update
• Outlook: 1 paragraph on positioning rationale and what to watch
• Sources: Numbered list of citations

Tone

• Professional and measured
• Avoid speculation about specific future returns
• Acknowledge uncertainty where it exists

Length

• Ideal: 500-800 words
