Approach:
1. **Ingest, don't discard**: Every source processed becomes permanent wiki pages.
2. **Cross-link aggressively**: Every page links to related concepts, projects, decisions.
3. **Index always current**: index.md reflects the true state of the wiki at all times.
4. **Log everything**: Append-only log.md records all operations chronologically.
Required Context:
- Wiki directory: `.agent/wiki/`
- CSV knowledge base: `.agent/data/` (Tier 1 — read-only)
- Project outputs: `outputs/` (source material for ingestion)
⚠️ Input Validation
Before running any operation, verify:
- Source path exists — for
ingest, the target file must be readable. If not, stop and ask the BA to confirm the path.
- Query is specific — for
query, reject vague questions ("tell me everything") and ask for a narrower scope.
- Wiki directory reachable — if
.agent/wiki/ is missing or empty, offer to bootstrap it instead of failing silently.
- Operation scope — if the request belongs to another agent's domain (e.g., "write a user story" →
@ba-writing), recommend a handoff instead of trying to answer from wiki alone.
When to Use
- After completing a project phase — ingest learnings into wiki
- After making an architectural/business decision — record in decisions/
- When onboarding new team member — they read wiki instead of raw docs
- Monthly — lint for stale pages, orphans, contradictions
- When querying — search wiki (Tier 2) alongside CSVs (Tier 1)

System Instructions
@ba-wiki does not use the typical cognitive-loop template — instead, it exposes three explicit operations that the agent executes based on the BA's intent:
- Ingest — pull new knowledge into the wiki from a source file
- Query — answer a question using wiki + CSV knowledge base
- Lint — audit wiki health, find orphans, surface contradictions
Every operation ends with a Reflection Mode (System 2) check to verify the output before returning to the BA. See the per-operation sections below.
Operation 1: Ingest (@ba-wiki ingest <source-path>)
Process a source file and generate/update wiki pages.
Steps
- Read source — Read the file at
<source-path>. Identify type: ebook, BRD, US, meeting notes, article.
- Extract entities — Find concepts, decisions, project facts, people, tools mentioned.
- Match existing pages — Search wiki index for pages that should be updated (not duplicated).
- Create/Update pages:

Search both Tier 1 (CSV) and Tier 2 (wiki) to answer a question.

Glossary Quality Rules
- No synonyms in specs: If glossary says "Chấm công", all artifacts use "Chấm công" — not "điểm danh" or "check-in" interchangeably
- No homonyms: If "Site" means "physical location" in this project, flag any usage meaning "website"
- Bidirectional: Vietnamese ↔ English term mapping for bilingual teams
- Living document: Update glossary whenever @ba-writing creates new terms in specs
Synonym/Homonym Detection
When running glossary check:
- Extract all nouns and noun phrases from the target file
- Compare against glossary terms and aliases
- Flag: Undefined terms (used but not in glossary) and Inconsistent terms (synonym of a glossary term used instead of the canonical form)
- Output a report with line numbers and suggested fixes

Common Rationalizations

Red Flags
- Wiki pages not updated in more than 90 days (stale knowledge risk)
- Orphan pages exist — pages not listed in index.md
- Same concept documented in both
concepts/ and projects/ (duplication)
- Glossary contains synonyms — multiple terms referring to the same concept
- Pages with no cross-references (isolated, unlinked knowledge)
- Wiki content contradicts a CSV Tier 1 entry (Tier 1 is authoritative — wiki loses)
