Cross-model validation (spec §11.3)

For claims that name a real person/culture or where confidence is low, escalate to a different provider (Gemini) for a second opinion — conditional, ~5–10% sampling, not every call.

Implementation

Call the hermes-bridge MCP tool run_judgment_agent(insight_type="verify-claims", query=<ask>, context={"draft_text": draft_text}). Hits Hermes's POST /v1/agents/verify-claims (new hermes/agents/verify-claims/), same self-correcting LLM loop / mock-fallback pattern. Caveat: this checks claims against the model's training-data knowledge, not a live verified-fact database -- treat flags as input for a human fact-checker, not a final verdict.

Backend dependency

• Reading the graph/citation store (Railway) gathered by gather-citations is still stubbed until the Postgres/AGE backbone is wired -- the claim-checking call itself works today against the model's own knowledge, it just isn't cross-referenced against gather-citations's stored output yet.
