LogoMakr Platform Help
LogoMakr (logomakr.com, built by Sketch.IO) is a budget DIY logo + graphic-design tool. It's a peer in the
budget logo cluster (Hatchful / DesignEvo / Namecheap / LogoMaker.com / Ucraft / FreeLogoDesign / LOGO.com) but
broader than a pure logo maker: it ships 3M+ graphics/icons and a general design canvas you can also use for
banners, t-shirt designs, social profile icons, and invitations. Originally a manual drag-and-drop canvas
editor (assemble a logo yourself from icons + text + shapes, like Ucraft/Mojomox), it's now a hybrid: an AI
logo generator + editable templates + the classic blank canvas. Design is downstream of a locked name,
which is downstream of a validated idea, so validate demand first (/sales-idea-validation) and settle the name
(/sales-namelix) before you pay to brand it.
The first fact that frames every answer — the free download is a NON-COMMERCIAL, credited preview, not a
deliverable. Designing and previewing are free, and unlike LogoMaker.com/SmashingLogo you can download for free —
but the free file is low-resolution, cannot be used commercially, and must credit LogoMakr wherever
it's used. So a "free LogoMakr logo" is legal only for non-commercial use with attribution; any commercial
use (website, product, signage, marketing) requires a paid one-time package. That's a distinct gate: not
"no free download" (LogoMaker.com), not "free usable file" (Hatchful PNG / Namecheap incl. SVG) — it's free but
non-commercial + credited. If someone wants a genuinely free commercial logo, redirect to the free-download peers.
The second fact — one-time per package (no subscription), and VECTOR is a tier upgrade. Paid packages are
one-time buys, not a subscription. The cheapest tier is raster only (PNG/JPG); vector (SVG/EPS/PDF) unlocks
at the mid (Pro) tier, and the top (Business) tier adds editable source files + a branding kit + a few human
design corrections, bridging DIY and a done-for-you service. All pricing/tier specifics are best-effort → confirm
at logomakr.com (the pricing and packages pages disagree on exact inclusions/credits, and a legacy per-logo model
[~$19 single] has been restructured into Basic/Pro/Business tiers).
Step 1 — Gather context
If references/learnings.md exists, read it first for accumulated platform knowledge.
Ask only what you can't infer:
What do you want from LogoMakr?
A) How it works (AI generator vs editable templates vs the manual blank canvas + 3M+ graphics)
B) Free vs paid — what the free download actually gives you (and the non-commercial + credit gate)
C) Which package / price — what each one-time tier includes (raster vs vector, credits, source files)
D) What files / formats you receive (is vector SVG/EPS/PDF included at your tier?)
E) Ownership / licensing — commercial rights, the shared-icon catch, and trademark
F) How it compares — vs the free-download peers or the pay-to-download peers in the cluster
Free/non-commercial placeholder, or a paid commercial mark? A throwaway you'll credit and never sell → the free
download works; anything commercial → you must buy a package (and for vector, the Pro tier).
Skip-ahead: a name (not a design) → /sales-namelix; the validate-before-building method or a branding-tool
comparison across the whole market → /sales-idea-validation; a free commercial logo → /sales-namecheap-logo-maker
(free, incl. SVG) or /sales-hatchful (free PNG); the wider social/marketing creative at scale → /sales-canva —
route in Step 2.
Step 2 — Route or answer directly
If the user's question is about…
Route to
Generating the business name itself (not the design)
/sales-namelix {question}
The validate-before-building method, or comparing branding/design tools across the market
/sales-idea-validation {question}

/sales-namecheap-logo-maker {question}
A free commercial logo PNG (no attribution needed)

/sales-designevo {question}
A done-for-you HUMAN logo (a designer makes it for you)
/sales-logonerds {question}
Building the wider social/marketing creative or a design system at scale
/sales-canva {question}
When routing, give the exact command: "This is a {domain} question — run: /sales-namelix {original question}"
Otherwise, answer LogoMakr-specific questions using Step 3.
Step 3 — LogoMakr reference
Read references/platform-guide.md for the full reference — the AI-generator / templates / manual-canvas
workflow and every module's automation tag; the free-vs-paid gate (low-res + non-commercial + credit) and the
one-time package/pricing anatomy (raster Basic → vector Pro → source-files + human-fixes Business); the
deliverables (raster vs vector) and the shared-icon ownership/trademark caveats; the cluster positioning
(vs free-download and pay-to-download peers); the namesake disambiguation (LogoMakr vs LogoMaker.com vs
Logomakerr.ai); and the no-public-API reality (and the correct image-generation-API workaround for volume).
Answer using only the relevant section — don't dump the full reference.
Step 4 — Actionable guidance
Lead with the free-download gate: it's a NON-COMMERCIAL, credited, low-res preview — not a usable deliverable.
You can download free (unlike LogoMaker.com/SmashingLogo), but the free file is low-resolution, cannot be
used commercially, and must credit LogoMakr. Any commercial use requires a paid one-time package. If they
want a free commercial logo, redirect to /sales-namecheap-logo-maker (free, incl. SVG) or /sales-hatchful
(free PNG).
Quote pricing as one-time per package, and flag it best-effort. Packages are one-time buys, no subscription.
The cheapest tier is raster (PNG/JPG) only; vector (SVG/EPS/PDF) unlocks at the mid (Pro) tier; the top
(Business) tier adds editable source files + a branding kit + a few human design corrections. Flag every figure
best-effort → confirm at logomakr.com — the pricing and packages pages disagree on exact inclusions/credits and the
older per-logo model has been restructured.
If they need vector, tell them Basic won't do it — buy Pro (or higher). The base tier is raster only; print/
scalable SVG/EPS/PDF starts at the mid tier. (For a free vector, that's Namecheap, not LogoMakr.)
Warn on the shared-icon catch: ownership ≠ uniqueness ≠ trademark. Icons/graphics come from third-party
suppliers (a Noun-Project-style catalog) and can't be trademarked or copyrighted — the same icon is reusable by
others, so an icon-based mark isn't unique. Paid tiers grant commercial rights, but that is not a registered
trademark. Before relying on the mark: prefer a text/wordmark over a stock icon, run a USPTO/EUIPO clearance +
distinctiveness check and a reverse-image search, and grab the domain + handles.
Don't confuse the three namesakes.LogoMakr = logomakr.com by Sketch.IO (this skill). LogoMaker.com
= the Deluxe/LogoMix tool (/sales-logomaker, no free download). Logomakerr.ai = the AI brand-kit tool
(/sales-logomakerr). Any "LogoMakr API" you find via ApiX-Drive/Zapier listings is almost certainly
Logomakerr.ai, a different product — don't attribute it to LogoMakr.
There is NO public API — don't plan a pipeline around it. LogoMakr is UI-only: no REST endpoints, no
webhooks, no Zapier/Make, no MCP. For programmatic or bulk logo/icon generation, use an image-generation API
and vectorize/brand downstream (see the recipe in references/platform-guide.md).
If you discover a gotcha or tip not in references/learnings.md, append it there with today's date.
Gotchas
Best-effort from research (2026-07) — pricing/tier/format terms move and the pricing vs packages pages disagree;
verify at logomakr.com before relying on figures.
The free download is NON-COMMERCIAL + credited + low-res. You can download free, but it can't be used
commercially and must credit LogoMakr — any commercial use needs a paid package. It's not "no free download," and
it's not a free usable file either.
One-time per package, no subscription — but vector is a tier upgrade. Basic is raster (PNG/JPG) only; vector
(SVG/EPS/PDF) starts at the Pro tier; Business adds source files + a branding kit + a few human design fixes. The
site's own pricing and packages pages disagree on formats/credits/prices, and a legacy per-logo model (~$19 single)
was restructured — flag all figures best-effort → confirm on-site.
Icons are shared/non-exclusive third-party graphics. They can't be trademarked/copyrighted and others reuse them,
so an icon-based mark isn't unique. Commercial rights ≠ a registered trademark → prefer a wordmark and run a
USPTO/EUIPO clearance.
Namesake trap: LogoMakr ≠ LogoMaker.com ≠ Logomakerr.ai. Three different products with near-identical names — an
"API/integration" result is almost always Logomakerr.ai, not LogoMakr.
NO public API, webhooks, Zapier/Make, or MCP. LogoMakr is UI-only. For volume, use an image-generation API and
vectorize downstream.

Examples
Example 1: "LogoMakr let me download for free — why can't I use it on my website?" (the free gate)
User says: "I made a logo on LogoMakr and downloaded it free, but now I read I can't use it. What gives?"
Skill does: Explains LogoMakr's free download is non-commercial + credited + low-res — legal only for
non-commercial use with a LogoMakr credit, not for a website/product/marketing. Any commercial use requires a
paid one-time package (Basic raster, Pro adds vector, Business adds source files). If they want a genuinely free
commercial logo instead, points to /sales-namecheap-logo-maker (free, incl. SVG) or /sales-hatchful (free PNG).
Flags pricing best-effort → logomakr.com.
Result: The user understands the free file isn't usable commercially and picks a paid package or a free-commercial peer deliberately.
Example 2: "Do I get a vector SVG, and is the logo really mine?" (formats / ownership / trademark)
User says: "If I pay for LogoMakr, do I get an SVG I can print big, and do I own the logo?"
Skill does: Says vector (SVG/EPS/PDF) is not in the cheapest (Basic) tier — it starts at Pro, so buy
Pro or higher for print/scalable files (best-effort → confirm on-site). On ownership: paid tiers grant commercial
rights, but icons are shared, non-exclusive third-party graphics that can't be trademarked, so an
icon-based mark isn't unique and commercial rights ≠ a registered trademark — prefer a wordmark, run a
USPTO/EUIPO clearance + reverse-image check, and secure the domain + handles.
Result: The user buys the right tier for vector and plans proper originality + trademark checks.
Example 3: "Is there a LogoMakr API so I can generate logos from a script?" (developer/automation)
User says: "Can I automate LogoMakr — an API to generate logos in bulk from a spreadsheet?"
Skill does: States LogoMakr has no public API — it's UI-only with no REST endpoints, webhooks, Zapier/Make,
or MCP, so it can't be scripted. Warns that any "LogoMakr API / integration" result (e.g. via ApiX-Drive) is almost
certainly Logomakerr.ai, a different product — don't attribute it to LogoMakr. For programmatic or bulk
generation, suggests an image-generation API, then vectorizing/branding downstream (recipe in the platform guide).
Result: The user avoids building on a nonexistent API (and a namesake mix-up) and picks a workable path.
Troubleshooting
"I downloaded my logo free but was told I can't use it for my business"
Symptom: You exported a logo from LogoMakr at no cost, then found it's not usable commercially.
Cause: LogoMakr's free download is non-commercial and requires attribution — the free file is low-res and
"credit must be provided wherever the file is used"; commercial use needs a paid package.
Solution: Buy a one-time package (Basic for raster, Pro for vector, Business for source files + human
fixes) to get a high-res, commercially licensed file — or, if you want a free commercial logo, use
/sales-namecheap-logo-maker (free, incl. SVG) or /sales-hatchful (free PNG). Flag prices best-effort → logomakr.com.
"My package doesn't include an SVG / the pricing page and packages page don't match"
Symptom: You bought a tier expecting vector and only got PNG/JPG, or the two pricing pages show different tiers.
Cause: Vector (SVG/EPS/PDF) is a tier upgrade — the cheapest (Basic) tier is raster only; vector starts at
Pro. And LogoMakr's pricing and packages pages disagree on inclusions/credits/prices (a legacy per-logo model
was restructured).
Solution: Confirm the current tier that includes vector on logomakr.com before buying, and buy Pro or
higher if you need SVG/EPS/PDF. Treat any figure you saw elsewhere as best-effort.
"I found a LogoMakr API / Zapier integration — how do I use it?"
Symptom: A listing (ApiX-Drive, RapidAPI, Zapier) seems to show a LogoMakr API or automation.
Cause: LogoMakr (logomakr.com) has no public API — it's UI-only. The listing is almost certainly for
Logomakerr.ai (a different product) or a generic "logo API," not LogoMakr.
Solution: Don't build on it as if it were LogoMakr. For programmatic/bulk logo generation, use an
image-generation API and vectorize/brand downstream (see references/platform-guide.md). If you actually meant
Logomakerr.ai, use /sales-logomakerr.
