Start a new dashboard session. Define a datasource, generate an adapter, build charts, and promote to the dashboard. Claude does the reasoning; the human approves proposals.
Edit an existing chart or its adapter. Opens a session targeting the chart, makes changes, and promotes back to the dashboard.
Open the session preview in the browser. Shows all charts currently in .session/charts.json at http://localhost:5173/d/<slug>/preview.
Re-run data adapters to pull fresh data into dashboards/*/data/*.json. Optionally target a specific dashboard or adapter by slug.

Run bin/session-status and read the output.
If has_session: false or complete: false, report what's missing:
Cannot promote — session is incomplete.

Run /dashboard:new to complete the session first.

Read .session/datasource.json, .session/charts.json, .session/placement.json.
