bencode-py

Build and validate the nanobind C++ extension with meson. Use for changes in src/bencode2/*.cpp or *.hpp, meson.build, native crashes, ABI issues, import failures, or any task that must run with --assert-pkg-compiled=true.

Keep the C++ extension and pure Python fallback behavior aligned. Use for encode or decode semantic changes, validation rules, security hardening, recursion or overflow fixes, error message updates, and regression tests that must cover both implementations.

Validate the pure Python decoder and encoder fallback. Use for changes in src/bencode2/__decoder.py or __encoder.py, PyPy compatibility, tests that should pass without the native module, or any task that must run with --assert-pkg-compiled=false.
