TIL

The fastest loop in the brain: the user learned something, say it once, it is kept forever and becomes searchable knowledge.

Process

1. Take what the user said ("TIL: pg indexes are not used when the column is wrapped in a function") and expand it minimally from _templates/til.md: the thing in their words, context if given, why it matters, source if given. Do not pad; a 5-line TIL is perfect.
2. File it in the wiki:
   • If a wiki page for the topic exists (check wiki/index.md), append the TIL to that page under a ## TILs section and update the page's updated: date.
   • If not, create wiki/<topic>.md with frontmatter (type: concept, tags, created, updated), the TIL as its first content, and [[wikilinks]] to related pages.
3. Update wiki/index.md if a page was created, and append one line to wiki/log.md.
4. Add a one-line entry to today's daily log (Log section); create today's file if needed.
5. Confirm in one line: where it went and what page it grew.

Why this matters (tell the user once, early)

TILs compound. Ten TILs is a habit; a hundred is a personal knowledge base no course can sell you; and every one is raw material for a build-in-public post (content-draft mines them).

Rules

• Capture speed beats structure: never ask more than ONE clarifying question, and only when the TIL is genuinely ambiguous.
• The TIL stays in the user's words; clean up grammar at most.
