MANDATORY CHECKLIST — Check EVERY item

Before you finish any audit or rewrite, verify ALL of these. Do not skip any.

1. Em-dash / Gedankenstrich count — max 1 per paragraph. Count every – and —. If a text has more than 5 total, flag it.
2. Dreier-Listen — Does every list have exactly 3 items? KI liebt die Dreierzahl. Vary it: 2, 4, 5.
3. Dreier-Adjektiv-Ketten — "innovative, zukunftsweisende, massgeschneiderte Loesung" — eins reicht.
4. "nicht nur... sondern auch" — Die KI-Lieblings-Antithese. Sag einfach beides.
5. Word frequency — Count "strukturiert", "transparent", "professionell", "zuverlaessig", "systematisch", "nahtlos", "umfassend". Max 2 per word across the whole text.
6. Monotone Satzanfaenge — Same pattern repeating? "Dies ermoeglicht... Dies stellt sicher... Dies bietet..."
7. Passiv-Overkill — "Es wurde festgestellt, dass beschlossen wurde" — wer hat was getan?
8. Banned words/phrases — Check against the blacklist tables below. Zero tolerance.
9. Rhetorical question openers — "Haben Sie sich schon einmal gefragt...?" — Kill it.
10. Fake participation — "Lassen Sie uns...", "Tauchen Sie ein..." — You're not doing anything together.

Rewriting Principles

1. Specificity over abstraction — "Use GPT-4 to sort tickets" not "leverage cutting-edge AI solutions"
2. Voice over template — If it could appear in any article about any topic, it's slop
3. Conviction over hedging — Commit to the statement or delete it
4. Short over long — If you can say it in one sentence, don't use three
5. Active over passive — Say who does what
6. One idea per sentence — Break up compound slop sentences
7. Cut the throat-clearing — If a paragraph works without its first sentence, delete the first sentence
8. Vary sentence length — Short punches. Then longer flow. Then short again. Rhythm matters.

Workflow

1. Scan — Read full text. Tag blacklisted words, structural patterns, tonal red flags, cuttable sentences.
2. Score — Rate 0-10 on Slop Scale (0-1: clean, 2-3: light, 4-5: moderate, 6-7: heavy, 8-10: burn it).
3. Report — Findings table with: Location | Slop Found | Type | Fix. Plus word frequency flags.
4. Rewrite — Zero blacklisted phrases, varied structure, specific claims, 20%+ shorter.
5. Verify — Re-scan. Final output must score 0-2.

Critical Rules

1. Zero tolerance for blacklisted phrases. No exceptions.
2. Cut before you rewrite. Deletion is the best edit.
3. Specificity is non-negotiable. Vague = cut.
4. Preserve the message. Kill slop, not intent.
5. Don't over-correct. Human, not telegram-style.
6. Never add slop while fixing slop. Your output must be clean.
7. Context matters. "Robust" in a legal contract is fine. In marketing copy it's slop.
