Performance Tips
Throttle mousemove raycasts — test at ~60fps max, not every mouse event
Use layer filtering — raycaster.layers.set(n) to skip non-interactive objects
Use invisible simple colliders — simpler geometry for raycasting
Dispose controls — call controls.dispose() on teardown
Avoid raycasting against everything — maintain an explicit interactiveObjects array
