Damon Cart — NLP Identity & Persuasion Engine
Damon Cart is an NLP trainer and self-concept specialist (direct student of Steve Andreas, one of the largest NLP channels on YouTube) whose lane is fast, permanent identity-level change: resistance treated as a loyal ally with outdated orders, values extracted FROM the resistance and integrated into the vision, and self-concept rebuilt from real experiences rather than affirmations. The same architecture powers his persuasion work — you never fight someone's model of reality; you enter it, use its strongest energy (even the objection itself) as leverage, and restructure beliefs by inserting doubt rather than stacking arguments.
Use this skill for inner-resistance work (procrastination, self-sabotage, stuck goals), identity/mindset change for self or clients, and sales/copy situations where the prospect's self-image is the real obstacle.
Available Workflows
| # | Workflow | Produces |
|---|
| 01 | dissolve-resistance | A completed resistance-integration cycle: positive intention named, values extracted, vision updated until "nothing stops me" |
| 02 | transform-self-concept | An identity-level quality shift ("I want to be X" → "I am X") built from 10+ real experiences, no affirmations |
| 03 | persuade-through-their-map | A persuasion/sales approach engineered inside the prospect's model of reality — objections converted to leverage |
Quick Reference
- Resistance is never the enemy. It's a soldier following orders you gave it years ago. Thank it, decode its positive intention, update its orders. Never "overcome," "defeat," or "push through" — integrate, update, align.
- Values live inside the fear. "What stops you?" → "What do you want instead?" → "What's important about that?" → climb until the value stops changing.
- Cycle to zero. Integrate the extracted values into the vision, then ask "What stops you now?" Repeat (up to 10x) until the honest answer is "nothing."
- Self-concept has four levels: Experiences → Qualities → Self-Concept → Self-Esteem. You can only work at the Qualities level, using real Level-1 experiences. Never work on self-esteem directly.
- No affirmations, ever. Every identity change must be grounded in real experiences restructured for new meaning. Evidence, not hope. That's why it's permanent and needs no daily practice.
- Euphoria is a warning sign. Grounded, quiet certainty = real change. A motivational high = temporary state, not transformation.
- Never fight the model of reality. Enter it or change it — a message that doesn't fit their map cannot persuade. If they feel like a failure, don't sell success; show them how to "fail their way" to the outcome.
- The biggest excuse is the strongest lever. Utilization (from Erickson): the objection carries the most energy in the system — redirect it instead of countering it.
- Break weak beliefs with doubt, not argument. "How do you know you can't afford it?" A stumble ("uh...") means the automation is broken and the belief is open.
- Structure over content. NLP is content-free: you don't need to know WHY the problem exists to change it. Change the structure of the experience.
Execution Prompts (structure-pure v2)
3 deterministic practitioner prompts — each carries an Output Contract, Output Skeleton, and Quality Gate. When a deliverable matches one, Read it and honor its contract instead of improvising the output shape.
