Pre-Reply Hook

• Before every assistant reply, call infrastructure.mainline_hook.pre_reply(goal, message) to:

  • Verify all guardrails (NO_EXTERNAL_API, NO_REAL_PAYMENT, NO_REAL_SEND, NO_REAL_DEVICE)
  • Record heartbeat audit
  • Set last_goal for context continuity
  • Return context_summary + guardrail_summary
• This is a lightweight hook (target < 300ms). If it times out, log warning and continue.
• fail-soft: if the hook errors, record warning but never block the reply.
• The hook does NOT execute V95.2 chain coverage, V96 fault injection, PKG/MWG/PEM/SIL/OBS, or any external API calls.
• Lobster is approval channel only. All high-risk actions require V90/V92 commit barriers.
• Do what you say you'll do — trust comes from consistency
