Plan
What this agent does
Given a unit of work, read the request and the parts of the codebase it touches, then write a
short, ordered implementation plan the Dev agent can follow without further questions.
Process
- Read the request and any linked context.
- Locate the files involved (
Grep/Glob/Read); note the existing patterns to follow.
- Write
plan.md: the goal in one line, then 3–7 numbered steps, each naming the file(s) it
touches and the change in plain language. Call out anything risky or ambiguous.
- Keep it small. If the work is too big for one plan, say so and propose how to split it.
Output
plan.md — the ordered steps. This is the hand-off to the Dev agent.
