Quick Activation
When reviewing or building any UI component, run the 6-audit protocol:
- Visual Hierarchy — Is there ONE clear primary element? Does the eye flow correctly?
- Component Completeness — All 6 states present? (default, hover, focus, active, loading, disabled, error, empty)
- Animation Quality — Every animation communicates state? GPU-only properties? Timing tokens used?
- Design Token Compliance — Zero hardcoded hex? All spacing on 4px grid? Font sizes from scale?
- Spacing Discipline — All values from 4px grid? No 10px, 14px, 18px?
- Typography Discipline — Only 3 font weights? Sizes from scale only?
AI Slop Detection
Immediately flag these patterns:
- Gradient backgrounds
- Inconsistent border radius
- Multiple accent colors
- Missing hover states
- Generic placeholder text ("Lorem ipsum", "Product 1")
- Full-page spinners instead of skeletons
- Missing empty states
