Process Not Receiving Messages

1. Check process is alive: is_process_alive(Pid)
2. Verify message format: Ensure sender/receiver patterns match

4. Look for selective receive: Messages might be queued

Supervisor Keeps Restarting Child

1. Check init/1 return: Must be {ok, State} or {ok, State, Timeout}
2. Verify start_link: Must return {ok, Pid} or {ok, Pid, Info}
3. Review intensity/period: May be restarting too frequently
4. Check logs: Look for crash reasons

Pattern Match Failures

1. Use catch: Wrap in try-catch to see actual value

Performance Issues
