pull-change
Fetches one named version from https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/blob/main/CHANGELOG.md and scaffolds it into the repo using the same layout as sync-latest-change. For the latest release, use sync-latest-change instead.
How to run
python3 scripts/pull_change.py 2.1.118
Argument is the version triple X.Y.Z (major.minor.patch). The script:
- Fetches the upstream CHANGELOG.
- Locates the
## X.Y.Z heading; errors out if absent.
- Writes/refreshes
changes/X/Y/Z/change.md.
- Creates
derivatives/X/Y/Z/categorized.json if missing (seeded from the change bullets, does not clobber existing JSON).
- Upserts
versions[X][Y][Z] in the root metadata.json.
After scaffolding, edit categorized.json (fill in summary and category fields, correct booleans), then run:
python3 scripts/render_derivatives.py 2.1.118
to produce by-type.md, by-cat.md, combined.md, and combined.pdf.
