This formula shows why transmission rate matters: even ideas with many invites (high i) can fail if conversion is low. Conversely, highly compelling ideas (high c) need fewer advocates (lower i) to achieve growth.

Antimemes don't just lack viral coefficient — they have a drag coefficient: the amount of resistance that must be overcome before the idea can spread more easily.
