# uncomplect
Source for [uncomplect.com](https://uncomplect.com): agent skills and a glossary for separating braided responsibilities in software. It is a child project of [rat-stack](https://ratstack.sh).
To complect is to braid things together. To uncomplect is to pull the strands apart, so each piece does one job and can be changed or deleted on its own.

Every page returns Markdown unless the client ranks `text/html` above `text/markdown`.
MCP tools, each one a capability contract in `packages/core`:
- `search_terms`: find terms and principles by words
- `get_term`, `get_principle`: read one entry by stable id
- `list_bibliography`: every source and who cites it
- `fetch_skill`: raw `SKILL.md` text
## Edit the content
1. Edit `content/corpus.yaml`, a `content/principles/<id>.md` page, or a file under `content/skills/<id>/`.
2. Run `pnpm --filter @uncomplect/site generate`. The build lists every problem at once: duplicate or retired ids, dangling related ids, missing sources, broken internal links.
3. Run `pnpm turbo run check test build`.
Ids are kebab-case, unique across every kind, and never reused. To remove an entry, move its id to `retired`. Every quote cites a source in `sources`.
