Night Markets:

2. Say number: 一個 (yī gè) = one, 兩個 (liǎng gè) = two
3. 內用 (nèi yòng) = eat here, 外帶 (wài dài) = takeaway
4. Pay cash (many don't take cards)

Restaurants:

1. Often self-seating
2. Write order on paper slip
3. Or point at menu
4. 買單 (mǎi dān) = bill please
