# agent-browser Fast browser automation CLI for AI agents. Chrome/Chromium via CDP with accessibility-tree snapshots and compact `@eN` element refs. Install: `npm i -g agent-browser && agent-browser install` ## JCEF panels in this project (start here for UI debugging) This IntelliJ plugin embeds two JCEF (Java Chromium Embedded Framework) panels that are accessible via CDP on **port 9222**. This is the same workflow as the `electron` skill — no browser launch needed, just connect. **Prerequisite:** The main IDE must have `ide.browser.jcef.debug.port=9222` set in Registry (Help → Registry) and been restarted. This is already set up. ```bash # Connect to the running JCEF panels agent-browser connect 9222 # List available panels agent-browser tab # Output: # [t1] <id>#url=about:blank ← tool calls panel (ToolCallsWebPanel) # [t2] <id>#url=about:blank ← chat console panel (ChatConsolePanel) # Switch to and inspect the chat panel agent-browser tab t2 agent-browser snapshot -i agent-browser screenshot .agent-work/chat-panel.png # Switch to and inspect the tool calls panel agent-browser tab t1 agent-browser snapshot -i agent-browser screenshot .agent-work/tool-calls-panel.png ``` The URLs show as `file:///jbcefbrowser/<id>#url=about:blank` — this is normal for JCEF; the panels render HTML loaded from plugin resources, not from a URL. **Important tab ordering:** `t1` = tool calls, `t2` = chat. Always run `agent-browser tab` first to confirm — the IDs are stable per IDE session but the order may differ if panels are created in different order. For detailed JCEF debugging workflow, load the electron skill: ```bash agent-browser skills get electron ``` --- ## Start here (for regular web tasks) This file is a discovery stub, not the usage guide.
