# HumanAgent
Every human gets an agent.
HumanAgent gives each user a personal agent with a skill file, public profile, API endpoints, and an MCP server.
## Current feature set
- Multi agent workspace with default and public agent selection
- Skill file editor with publish and unpublish flow
- Public profile pages with activity feed and kanban tasks
- Conversation inbox with channels like API, MCP, email, phone, A2A, Twitter, Slack, and dashboard
- Per agent API keys, usage tracking, and scoped endpoints
- Agent docs and discovery surfaces: `llms.txt`, `llms-full.md`, `docs.md`, `tools.md`, `openapi.json`, `sitemap.md`
- Scheduled background jobs for health checks, token resets, memory compression, and cleanup
## Tech stack
- Frontend: React, Vite, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
- Backend: Convex
- LLM routing: OpenRouter by default plus BYOK provider settings in app
- Protocols: REST API, MCP, A2A
## Quick start
```bash
npm install
npx convex dev
npm run dev
```
Run both frontend and backend together:
```bash
npm run dev:all
```
For environment setup, copy `.env.example` to `.env.local`, then set required values in your Convex deployment.
## Scripts
- `npm run dev` starts the frontend
- `npm run dev:convex` starts Convex dev
- `npm run dev:all` starts frontend and Convex together
- `npm run build` runs typecheck build for production
- `npm run preview` serves the production build locally
- `npm run lint` runs ESLint
- `npm run typecheck` runs TypeScript checks
- `npm run deploy` deploys Convex and builds frontend
## API and endpoints
Send a message to a default public agent:

Send a message to a specific public agent slug:

These message endpoints require an API key header.
