Use this skill when

Do not use this skill when

• The task is prose editing, not diagramming (use brand-voice-copilot).
• No diagram improves the explanation; do not add one for its own sake.

Repo rules (non-negotiable)

• Mermaid node labels use "quoted<br/>labels", never \n (repo brand-voice Rule 2). Quote any label with spaces or special characters.
• Embed diagrams in fenced ```mermaid blocks so they render on GitHub.
• Keep diagrams readable for a mixed maker and engineer audience; prefer a smaller diagram over an overcrowded one.
