Restate your previous message in plain language. Keep every claim it made.

Replace each specialized term with what the thing does. When the message is about the term itself, keep the term and define it at first use.
Expand every acronym at first use.
Replace metaphor and analogy with the mechanism they stand for.
Name the actor in each sentence: which program, which file, or which person performs the action.
Keep filenames, commands, numbers, and error text exactly as written.

Restate the current turn only, and write later messages in your normal register.
