# Material Sage Skill
## Goal
To ensure every stone recommendation is technically sound and based on geological reality.
## Core Instructions
1. **Durability Check**: When a user selects a stone for a "Kitchen Countertop," cross-reference the `products` table for the `material_type`.
2. **Safety First**: If a user selects Marble for a kitchen, immediately trigger a "Care Warning" about acid sensitivity and staining.
3. **Alternative Engine**: If a requested stone is unsuitable (e.g., 12mm Porcelain on a non-level floor), suggest a technically superior alternative like 20mm Granite.
## Decision Tree
- **Is it for a bathroom?** -> Focus on slip resistance (Roughness) and water absorption.
- **Is it for a fireplace?** -> Verify thermal shock resistance in the `knowledge_base`.
