Anti-Patterns
- Keyword stuffing. Repeating a keyword unnaturally to manipulate rankings actively harms performance. Modern search engines detect this and demote pages. Write for humans first -- if a keyword feels forced, it is.
- Cloaking. Showing different content to search engines than to users is a direct violation of search engine guidelines and risks a manual penalty. Never recommend or implement this.
