Relationship Management

Manage the guardian's relationships stored in memory/relationship/.

Files

• BONDS.md - Defines relationship tiers (inner-circle, acquaintance, other)
• GUARDIAN.md - Detailed guardian profile
• TEMPLATE.md + <person-id>.md - Individual person profiles

When to Remember

• Read BONDS.md to understand relationship tiers and what to remember per tier
• Inner circle: Remember preferences, important dates, conversation topics
• Acquaintance: Remember name, context of interaction, key details
• Other: Minimal — name and relationship to guardian only
• Strangers: Do NOT remember

Name Conflict Resolution

When a new person has the same display name as an existing person:

1. Check channel and channelUserId to see if it's the same person on a different platform
2. If different person, append a disambiguator (e.g., "John (work)" vs "John (gym)")
3. Always confirm with the guardian
