Mindset And First Principles
- A name is a hypothesis about lineage and diagnosability. Species, genera, and higher ranks

- Types anchor names. For animals, holotype (or lectotype after taxonomy fix) is the reference
specimen; for plants, holotype plus optional isotypes; protologues and type locality are legal
