Careers Page Design
Careers page is recruiting in addition to brand expression. Get both jobs.
Sections
Hero with mission statement. Values (3-5 actual ones, not corporate platitudes). Benefits. Team photos (optional but powerful). Open roles. How to apply.
Values
Behavior-led, not aspirational. 'We argue ideas, not people' beats 'We value collaboration.' Examples of how the value shows up daily.
Benefits presentation
Real numbers ($X 401k match, X weeks PTO). Compare to industry. Don't pad with 'free snacks' if you also have $X equity.
Open roles
Title + location + experience level + apply link. Filterable by team. Each role links to a full JD (separate page or modal).
Photos
Real team photos beat stock. But: get permission from every person. Update when people leave.
Common mistakes
Stock team photos. Generic values ('innovation', 'integrity'). Benefits listed but no salary range. 'Open positions: none' (looks dead — show team page instead).
